My passion for woodworking began when I was about twelve years old. Armed with a scroll saw and some scrap lumber, I’d spend hours tinkering and learning in an unheated Minnesota garage.
In 2016, I purchased my first big tool: A 12” miter saw. I began building pieces of furniture for myself and eventually took on building a half log cribbage board for my sister. After experiencing the agony of hand drilling 240 holes, I purchased a CNC machine in 2020 and started creating cribbage boards and signs for family and friends.
With my ties to the area of our family’s cabin, custom sign requests grew quickly and Custom Cabin Signs was born. Following the devastation of Helene, I've relocated from Asheville, NC to Alabama with a strong hope and desire to return to the mountains when things have settled down!
